Welcome to Benjamin Logan Schools

Good Evening Benjamin Logan Community,

This message contains information about our Winter Sports and how the most recent announcement by the Governor has changed our procedure and protocol for who can attend and how tickets will operate for Winter Sports.  As we head into this winter sports season, the announcement made by the Governor on Tues. Nov. 24 stated that sports are permitted to continue play, but the spectators in attendance must be parents or immediate family only.  With this immediate change, we felt it was important to let our community know that for all events and until further information is to follow, there will be NO General Admission Tickets available for Benjamin Logan Sporting Events.  Each team member will be given an allotment of tickets that they will be able to distribute or acknowledge to a family member and once each student-athletes tickets are gone, no more tickets will be available or sold to the general public.  I repeat, there will be NO Tickets Sold at the Gate, and all tickets must be purchased through a student-athlete involved in the game in order to be admitted to the contest.

With this change, we as a district will be doing our best to offer a live stream of the events to those who may not be able to attend, and more information on the live streaming opportunity will be available on our website as soon as those capabilities are ready.  We anticipate that this live stream option will be available very soon, and we ask that you please follow our school website for this information.

Again, we apologize for this inconvenience as we move into our Winter Sports seasons, but we must follow the state order.  If you have questions, please call the High School Office as we will be glad to help, but please remember that No Tickets will be available to be purchased at the gate for any Winter Sporting Event under the current state order.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope everyone in Raider Nation can pause, and safely enjoy the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Thank you,

Scott Reule

*The Raider Memory Walk*

We have recently completed a project where anyone associated with our School District has the opportunity to purchase an engraved brick and etch in stone your Raider Memories. We urge anyone and everyone to take advantage of this situation and help us build our Raider Memory Walk. You can have your brick engraved with names, awards, clubs, organizations,
victories, championships, loved ones, families, and much more. Please see the order form for details of this opportunity.

Simply print the order form and return it by mail or send it in with a student to the school office. Many have asked if they could make a purchase as a Christmas Gift to honor a loved one. We will place
our first
brick order by Monday, December 14, 2020, so plan now and return your form and brick information.

Our bricks will be laid into the Memory Walk area of our stadium to be enjoyed this spring. This memorial project began with the love and support of our community in memory of #20 Robbie Smith and #8 Wyatt Smith.

Together we will fill this memory walk with engraved bricks to honor former Raiders and those that have served the Benjamin Logan Community. Please take advantage of this opportunity and preserve your Benjamin Logan legacy
in stone for all to enjoy. Order your brick today!

INFORMATION UPDATE: Pay to Participate Fees
As many of you are aware, back in March, the Benjamin Logan Board of Education passed a resolution to institute a Pay to Participate Policy to assist the district with excess costs associated with sports, as well as some clubs and activities.  At this time, the Board has decided to temporarily delay implementation of the Pay to Participate policy that was slated to begin this fall.  This decision is due to uncertainty with the status of fall sports and activities due to the COVID-19 virus, as well as the unprecedented unemployment rates that have taken such a severe economic toll on many of our Benjamin Logan families.  So, there will be no pay to participate fees collected for fall sports.
