Join Bellefontaine, Benjamin Logan & Riverside High Schools as they battle for the title of the “Best Building” in the Shoes for Orphan Souls Shoe Drive. December 5 at the Benjamin Logan boys basketball gave vs. Waynesfield-Goshen. Each individual that brings a package (three pairs) of NEW athletic socks will receive complimentary admission to the December 5 game. In Ohio, parents interested in educating his or her child at home may do so by notifying their local school district superintendent and meeting the requirements of Ohio law to home school. If requirements are met, the district superintendent releases the student from required compulsory school attendance. This excuses the student and family from school attendance requirements in state law.  READ MORE...
New state report cards were released and Benjamin Logan students continue to show strong academic gains. The district achieved an A in overall progress in value added (math and reading) and maintained an A in their graduation rate. A strong district focus on college and career readiness is right on track with the changes coming from the state.   READ MORE...
Scores in the college readiness report show both recent and extended time results. Benjamin Logan has established an action plan for high school students which directly contributes to their success. Creating a common focus, establishing high expectations for all students, requiring a rigorous curriculum, providing student counseling, and measuring and evaluating progress all lead to achieving and sustaining high student performance.  READ MORE...
Sealed bids will be accepted electronically by the Benjamin Logan Local Schools until 10:00 a.m., local time on December 7, 2015, at the Benjamin Logan Central Office, 4740 County Road 26, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311 and opened and read at 10:00 a.m. on December 7, 2015 for all labor, material, and services necessary for the replacement of the telephone call processing and voice mail system for the district, as described in the contract documents prepared by Mr. Jason Smith and Mr. Brian Greavu, telephone number 937-593-9211. Contract documents may be obtained without charge by click "read more". All bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of either bid guarantee and contract bond for the full amount of the bid or a certified check, cashier's check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in the amount equal to 10% of the bid. No bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the bid opening. The school reserves the right to waive irregularities and bids, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the responsibility of a bidder.  READ MORE...
